Smash, Don't Trash

It's Still Good! In our attempts to slow down life through homeschooling, we have continued to see changes in our behaviors. Instead of throwing out an old, broken CD drive, we think, "Let's let the kids smash it with a hammer!" And then we find out, together, that a hammer isn't strong enough, we need pliers, a crow bar, and some patience. We get to see the motherboard, transistors, and the super shiny "thingy that spins".
